Flail mower – Heavy-duty flail mulcher with hydraulic side shift for tractor

DELEKS® CERVO-160 is a professional heavy-duty flail mower and mulcher with a 160 cm working width for 50–100 HP tractors, designed for grass, brambles, scrub, vine and orchard prunings and woody residues up to approximately 6–8 cm, featuring heavy-duty flails, double-layer housing, hydraulic side shift and PTO shaft included.

APPLICATION

The CERVO-160 is a professional heavy-duty flail mower, designed for the maintenance of agricultural land, vineyards, olive groves, orchards, overgrown areas and land with dense vegetation.

With a working width of 160 cm and a weight of 480 kg, it is suitable for wheeled or tracked tractors from 50 to 100 HP, such as New Holland, John Deere 5 Series, Landini Rex, Deutz-Fahr, Massey Ferguson, Lamborghini, Kubota and tractors with equivalent specifications.

It is suitable for mulching tall grass, brambles, scrub, vine and orchard prunings and woody residues up to approximately 6–8 cm in diameter, depending on the type, density and condition of the material.

The universal Category 2 three-point linkage and hydraulic side shift allow the machine to work either centrally or offset from the tractor.

The machine is suitable for use on both level and sloping ground, subject to the specifications, configuration and stability of the tractor.

HEAVY-DUTY FLAILS

The CERVO-160 rotor is equipped with heavy-duty flails, designed for demanding applications and for handling dense vegetation, brambles, prunings and woody residues.

The machine can mulch pruning residues and woody material up to approximately 6–8 cm in diameter, depending on the characteristics and condition of the material.

On request, the CERVO-160 can be equipped with triple blades instead of flails to adapt the machine to different working requirements.

The rotor is electronically balanced to ensure smooth rotation and reduce vibrations during operation.

HEAVY-DUTY DOUBLE-LAYER HOUSING

The CERVO-160 features a double-layer housing, particularly suitable for a flail mower intended for intensive applications.

The reinforced construction provides additional protection to the machine body against impacts and stresses generated when mulching dense vegetation and pruning residues.

The oversized rear roller supports the machine during operation and helps maintain a consistent working height.

HYDRAULIC SIDE SHIFT

The hydraulic side shift allows the operator to adjust the position of the flail mower directly from the tractor.

The ability to work offset from the tractor is particularly useful along field boundaries, between crop rows and wherever the mower needs to operate beyond the tractor’s normal working width.

TRANSMISSION

The CERVO-160 is equipped with a 540 rpm gearbox with overrunning clutch and a side belt transmission.

The belt tensioning system can be adjusted externally and features an adjustable tensioner, simplifying routine inspection and adjustment.

The CE-compliant PTO shaft is included and is equipped with a shear bolt for overload protection.

DELIVERY AND PREPARATION

The CERVO-160 is delivered secured to a Euro pallet and protected by a metal transport cage, helping protect the machine during transportation.

Before shipment, DELEKS® prepares the machine and checks that the oil and grease levels are correct.

To reduce transport dimensions, the three-point linkage frame is supplied disassembled. The customer must install the three-point linkage frame before use and carry out the standard checks required before first operation.
